View and Edit Volunteer Information

On the Volunteers page, click the Volunteers tab (link with white background), then click the name of the volunteer of whose profile you want to view/edit.

The profile (Overview)

The landing view summarizes the volunteer: contact details and address, notification/consent status (email and SMS), recurring Assignments, qualifications (Job Groups, Skills, Groups, Tags), and Emergency Contacts. A sidebar shows the Next Assignment, a Requirements compliance summary (complete / expiring soon / expired / not started), and Recent Activity.

Editing the profile

Use the Edit dropdown to change:
  • General — name, contact, and demographic details.
  • Emergency Contacts — add or update emergency contacts.
  • Notification Settings — email/SMS notification preferences.
  • Portal Access — invite the volunteer to the self-service portal and manage their login.
  • Skills , Groups , Tags — qualifications and labels.
  • Delete — remove the volunteer (with confirmation).

Other tabs

  • AssignmentsSchedule (recurring assignments) and Calendar (visual view).
  • Status change — set the volunteer Active, Inactive, or Prospective.
  • Time Off — record unavailability; shifts in the range are unassigned.
  • Requirements — track certifications/compliance and record completions.
  • Conversations — two-way SMS with the volunteer (shown when SMS is enabled) .
  • History — past shifts with hours and mileage.
  • Notes / Files — free-form notes and uploaded documents.
  • Log — an Activity history (plus an SMS log when SMS is enabled).
