On the Volunteers page, click the Jobs tab, then click the View button on the right-hand side of the job for which you want to view/edit settings.
From a job's detail page — opened with the View button on the Jobs tab (see View a Job) — the Status Change and Delete tabs control a job's lifecycle.
Change the status of a job
Switch the job between Active, Inactive, and Archived. Before you confirm, the page shows the consequences:
Deactivating (Active → Inactive or Archived) removes upcoming shifts and stops schedules from generating new ones. It tells you how many future shifts and active schedules are affected.
Reactivating (Inactive/Archived → Active) regenerates upcoming shifts (for roughly the next six months) and re-assigns volunteers from their schedules.
Inactive and Archived behave the same way — the difference is only how you label the job. "Inactive" usually means a temporary pause; "Archived" means it's retired.

Change job status
To change a status:
Click New Status.
Review the notification message describing what the action will do.
Click Change Status to save, or Cancel to back out.
Delete a job
Most of the time you want to archive a job (via the Status Change tab), not delete it — archiving preserves the job's history and lets you bring it back later. Delete only when a job was created in error. If shifts were scheduled, job deletion will remove all future shifts for the job.
To delete a job:
On the Volunteers page, click the Jobs tab.
Click the View button on the right-hand side of the job for which you want to view/edit settings.
