A menu schedule is a repeating menu rotation — a set number of weeks that the meal calendar cycles through. You can create more than one schedule (for example, a summer menu and a winter menu) and switch the calendar between them whenever you need to.
Menu schedules apply only when Enable recurring meal schedule is turned on. See Setting Up Menu Management .
How schedules work
Each schedule has its own name and its own number of weeks (1–26).
Exactly one schedule is in effect at a time. The calendar follows that schedule, repeating its weeks in order.
The other schedules stay ready in the background, so you can build a menu ahead of time and switch to it later.
If you already used a recurring schedule, your existing rotation now appears as a schedule named Default. Nothing about your calendar changes until you add another schedule.
Creating and managing schedules
Open Administration and choose Menu Management Settings , then find the Recurring Schedules section.
Add schedule — enter a Name and Weeks in schedule , then Save .
Edit — rename a schedule or change how many weeks it runs.
Delete — removes the schedule and its meal assignments.
Reducing Weeks in schedule permanently deletes the meal assignments for the weeks you remove. You'll be asked to confirm first.
A schedule can't be deleted while it is in effect , or while an upcoming schedule change points to it. Remove the change or switch schedules first.

Viewing your schedules
Open Menus and choose the Recurring Schedule tab to see every schedule you've built:
Name and Weeks
Status — an In effect badge showing the current cycle week, plus a badge for any upcoming change, such as Switches on Mar 1, 2027 (week 2)
Edit schedule — open that schedule's week-by-week grid
If you have administration access, a Manage Schedules button takes you straight to the settings page for adding and editing schedules.

Editing a schedule's meals
Click Edit schedule to open the schedule week by week. Each week shows Monday through Friday with the meals assigned to each product.
Use the edit icon on any day to change which meal is assigned to each product, then Save . Your changes apply to every future date that follows that week of the schedule.
Copying a week of meals
Building a new schedule is quicker if you start from meals you've already planned. On any week, click Copy from… :
Choose the schedule and week you want to copy from.
Review the source week next to the destination week.
Confirm the copy.
Copying replaces every meal assignment in the destination week. Products left unassigned in the source week are cleared in the destination.
Switching the calendar to another schedule
Change which schedule the calendar follows from the Month view:
Find the week where you want the change to begin. Weeks start on Sunday.
Click Change schedule in the week heading.
Choose the schedule and which of its weeks to start on, then click Reset cycle .
From that week onward the calendar follows the new schedule. Once you have more than one schedule, week headings show the schedule name alongside the cycle week — for example Winter Menu · Week 2 .
To cancel a change that hasn't happened yet, click Schedule change set on that week and confirm the removal.

Changing a single day — a holiday or a special meal — doesn't need a new schedule. Edit that day directly instead. See Working with the Meal Calendar .
