Menu Reports

Menu Management provides reports to help with kitchen prep, procurement, and daily operations.

Clipboard Day Detail Report

The day detail report gives you a complete breakdown for any delivery day.

Accessing the Report

Click Report on any day in the meal calendar to open the day detail view.

What's Included

  • Meal assignments per product
  • Client counts per product
  • Dietary overrides for clients being served
  • Per-dish ingredient breakdown with quantities scaled to client count

Exporting

Click Export PDF to generate a printable version of the day detail report.
Consider printing day detail reports ahead of time to help the kitchen prepare for upcoming days.

Shopping Cart Scaled Ingredient List

The scaled ingredient list generates a consolidated shopping list with ingredient quantities automatically calculated based on client counts and recipe portions.

Accessing the Report

Click Scaled ingredient list below the meal calendar on the main Menus page.

Generating the List

    Select a date range for the shopping list.
    Click Generate.
    The report shows each ingredient with its total quantity needed across all meals in the date range.

Export Options

The scaled ingredient list can be exported in PDF, CSV, or XLSX (Excel).

Delivery Truck Delivery Report Integration

Menu Management integrates with delivery day reports generated from the Deliveries module. When printing reports like the Kitchen Sheet, Route Sheet, or Meal Labels, you can select the automatic substitutions option to see dietary needs filtered for the specific menu items being served that delivery day.
This gives a cleaner view than showing all of a client's dietary needs — staff only sees alerts relevant to the day's actual menu.
Delivery reports are generated from the Deliveries module, not from Menus. See the Deliveries section of the Help Center for more details on generating Kitchen Sheets, Route Sheets, and Meal Labels.
