Navigating Orchard Stack

Orchard Stack uses a top navigation bar to access all modules. What you see depends on your role and permissions — this guide walks you through the main areas of the interface.

🏠 Dashboard

The Dashboard is your home page — it shows a real-time snapshot of your organization's operations at a glance.
  • Service statistics — active and inactive client counts
  • Today's and tomorrow's deliveries — delivery counts and meal breakdowns
  • Client alerts — clients starting service, resuming, stopping, or with expiring authorizations
  • Month and year-at-a-glance — summary statistics for the current period

🧭 Navigation Bar

The blue navigation bar runs across the top of every page and gives you access to all modules - e.g. Clients, Routes, Deliveries, Accounting, etc. Links for accessing Help, Notifications, and the User menu are at the far right.
You'll only see modules you have permission to access. If something is missing, contact your administrator.

🔔 Notification Bell

The notification bell sits in the top-right corner of the navigation bar. A badge displays your unread notification count — click it to see your recent notifications.

👤 User Menu

Click your name or avatar in the top-right corner to open the User Menu. From here you can:
  • Notification Preferences — configure which notifications you receive
  • My Account — update your password, review active sessions, and configure multi factor authentication
  • Sign Out — log out of your session
If you're also a volunteer and your organization uses Volunteer Management, you can switch between the Staff Portal and Volunteer Portal from this menu.
