Orchard Stack provides three methods for making temporary changes to a client's delivery schedule:
- : To stop deliveries for an unspecified period (i.e., the client will call back when ready to resume), change the client's status to . This can be entered as an immediate change or scheduled for a future date.
- : To stop deliveries for a set period (i.e., stop deliveries on Wednesday and resume the following Monday), you can enter a temporary stop. Temporary stops can be scheduled for the future, and multiple future stops can be stored for a client.
- : To make a temporary date-specific change to a client's order for one selected date or multiple selected dates, you can enter a special. Specials can be scheduled for the future, and multiple future specials can be stored for a client.
Navigate to the client record. You can use the search box or click on in the blue navigation bar and scroll to find them.
Click on and from the drop-down select .
At the top of your page, you will find your existing order item. Follow these steps to edit your order:
- Click to the right of your order.
- Alter the schedule as needed.
- If you’ve just added your client, go to the section under to add an item and edit the schedule or frequency.
Navigate to the . You can use the search box or click on in the blue navigation bar and scroll to find them.
Click on from the header options.
Select the (the first day your client won't receive their scheduled meal) and the date. You can select a reason and create a note if needed.
From the client page, click .
Under , choose or .
For , select one date. For , use the calendar to select one or more future dates. Selected dates appear below the calendar and can be removed before continuing.
Choose the route, reason, and whether to create a client note, then click .
On , review the selected dates and adjust products, quantities, product options, and optional Kitchen/Loading Sheet or Route Sheet instructions.
For a multi-day special, the same items, product options, route, reason, note text, Kitchen/Loading Sheet instructions, and Route Sheet instructions are applied to every selected date.
Orchard Stack creates one scheduled special per selected date. If any selected date is no longer valid or conflicts with an existing stop or special, the batch is rejected and no new specials are created.
