Meal Label Settings

The Meal Label Settings page allows you to configure the default content, layout, and format of meal labels used in the kitchen and during delivery. These settings help ensure that labels are clear, consistent, and tailored to your program’s needs. They act as defaults when generating labels but can be overridden as needed.

Gear Default Settings

These settings define the overall label format, which clients and routes are included by default, and how the label file is generated.
  • Label Size: Choose from available label formats:
  • Large (Avery 5162), Small (5160), Extra Large (5163), etc.
  • Route Selection: Select whether labels are printed for:
  • All routes
  • Specific delivery zones
  • Specific routes
  • Client Selection: Choose which clients are included:
  • All clients
  • Filtered by product selection or dietary needs
  • Default Output Format: Choose the default file format for exported label documents:
  • PDF or DOCX


Label Standard Label Settings

These options control the content shown on each line of standard (modern) labels.
  • First Line Content: Typically shows the Product name
  • Second Line Content: Options include:
  • Product Options (e.g., “Drink: Tea”)
  • Dietary Needs
  • Consume By Date
  • Third Line Content (Available only for Large labels and above):
  • Additional product info, notes, or blank
  • Consume By Date: Set the default number of days from delivery for this date (e.g., 3 days)


Receipt Legacy Large Label Settings (Classic Format)

If you’re still using the classic large label format, you can configure its content separately:
  • Meal Name Line Content: Typically the Product name
  • Dietary Needs Line Content: Choose what dietary details to print
  • Print Consume By Date?: Toggle ON or OFF
  • Legacy Consume By Date: Set the number of days from delivery (e.g., 3 days)


Printer Print Order and Logo

  • Label Print Order: Choose how labels are grouped when printed:
  • Alphabetical order
  • Manual route order
  • Optimized route order
  • Logo Display: Show your organization’s logo in:
  • Color or Grayscale(Your logo is configured on the General Settings page.)


Check Mark Button Saving Changes

Once you’ve adjusted your settings, click Save Settings. Your updated preferences will apply to all future label generation tasks, unless specifically overridden when generating labels.
