June 2025 Release Notes

We’re excited to share the latest updates to Orchard Stack! Our June release introduces new features to help your team better manage meals, routes, and delivery operations.

Fork and Knife with Plate New: Product Options & Choices

You can now define Product Options and Option Choices to customize offerings like never before. This is ideal for meals and other items that may include variations, such as:
  • Drink → Coffee, Tea, Water
  • Side → Salad, Fruit, Yogurt
Each product option can be marked as required or optional.
You can also now set products or their options to appear in a particular color or highlighted on the delivery reports. For example, Diabetic meals can be set to appear in red text or be highlighted on the Route and Kitchen Sheets for better visibility.

Pickup Truck Upgraded Delivery Reports

This release adds a suite of upgraded reports for the deliveries page and simplified pages for creating reports and adjusting report settings.
  • Route Sheets – A refreshed layout with easier customization and optional driver alerts for a client's first delivery or birthday.

  • Kitchen Sheet – A refined kitchen/loading prep-friendly report with easier customization of the route quantities and meal detail tables.

  • Meal & Meal Bag Labels – Upgraded labels with support for new label sizes and easier customization of the text and optional logo on the labels.

  • Dietary Needs Report – A refreshed listing of client dietary needs with simplified grouping by client.

Warning Note: The legacy versions of these reports remain available to allow for a smooth transition. You can continue using them as needed while you explore the new layouts. Just select Legacy in the format option to print the previous version of the report.

After you've had a chance to try out the new reports, we recommend setting your preferred report defaults in Admin > Settings.  Click here for more information.⁠ 

Calendar New: Client Delivery Calendar

Easily view upcoming deliveries with the new Client Delivery Calendar:
  • Displays which clients are scheduled for delivery each day
  • Helps coordinate route planning and kitchen prep
  • Available in a visual, calendar-style layout from the admin dashboard
You can access the Client Delivery Calendar by clicking View Calendar in the Services section of the client page.
